2019 Art Nova 100 | Beijing

As a winner at Arte Laguna, Kevin Frech’s video piece, “The Minimum,” will be shown at the “2019 Art Nova 100” exhibition at Beijing Guardian Art Center in Beijing, China, September 8 - 12 .

Art Nova Prize Winner | Arte Laguna

Kevin Frech’s work “The Minimum” was selected as an Arte Nova prize winner at the 13 Edition of Arte Laguna on 30 March in Venice, Italy. Kevin’s work will be shown the Beijing Guardian Art Center, China.

Finalist, Arte Laguna 2019

Kevin’s video work, “The Minimum,” made the finals of the 2019 Arte Laguna Prize in Venice, Italy.

Prizewinners will be announced on March 30 at the Venice Arsenale. Kevin will be there; invitation is free, so join us if you can. The exhibition will run March 30 - April 25.

Storefront Media Gallery

Kevin’s video works “Foundation and Empire” and “Two Degrees” have been selected to run at the Storefront Media Gallery, in Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square neighborhood, beginning in July 11 and projected to run for one year.

Storefront Media Gallery is one of many initiatives run by 4Culture an arts organization that funds and supports cultural work in the Seattle area.

The two video pieces will be on display at the street-level gallery, which is visible to pedestrians, public transport and cyclists, reaching over 20,000 people a day.

Freeze Tag Brooklyn

Kevin’s videos “The Minimum,” “Global Warming Series” and “Nails on a Blackboard,” along iwth a new, as yet-unnamed video, will be part of Freeze Tag, a video installation/performance night and one-day pop-up show, curated by the Brooklyn Art Cluster, on Friday, August 24 and Saturday, Aug. 25. Come and join Kevin and the the 14 other participating artists. It's free, it's fun, it's art.

LIC Arts Open Summer Exhibition

2nd Prize Winner, YICCA

Kevin Frech’s video art, "The Minimum," won second prize at YICCA, an international contest of contemporary art, as one of 18 finalists and three U.S. artists. Winner and finalist work will be on display at the Museum Crocetti, Rome, beginning 18 November. YICCA is run by Art Association Aps Moho. For more information, go to https://yicca.org.
